Over 9 years of industry experience in pharmaceutical process development, scale-up, site transfer, process validation, product launch, process improvement, commercial manufacturing support and CAPA. Kyriakos has extensive experience with manufacturing oral controlled release, and topical dosage forms. Some of the technologies include but are not limited to fluid bed granulation, solvent and aqueous fluid bed coating, solvent and aqueous pan coating, muli-layer tablet compression, high-shear granulation, blending, homogenization, tablet printing and laser drilling. Kyriakos has completed Six Sigma Greenbelt Training and has implemented these tools to streamline manufacturing processes and improve product quality. Additionally he has experience with statistical analysis software for design of experiments, modeling and control charting. He has successfully led cross-functional teams for new product launches and process validations. He has worked closely with commercial operations and quality groups to develop technical and compliance training programs for first line manufacturing and quality personnel. He has led efforts to establish validation and cleaning validation programs and has authored site master plans for both. Kyriakos received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and has completed certificate courses in pharmaceutical quality, pharmaceutical manufacturing and management. He has held progressive positions at Rhone Poulenc Rorer, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, and King Pharmaceuticals.
