An engineer with 16 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, technology transfer processes, validation, and project management. Eileen has a strong background in strategic planning for successful commercialization and international new product launch. She held a progression of management positions within Rhone-Polenc Rorer, GSK, Eximias Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Wyeth Europa.

Her experience includes:

• Equipment and facility validation & start up activities within the GMP Sterile manufacturing areas
• New and transferred product start-up, internationally
• Product scale up and validation, manufacture of clinical supplies with an emphasis on sterile compounds
• Clinical & Commercial packaging and labeling for worldwide studies/launches
• COG’s evaluation, production planning, production forecasts, and timelines
• Development of a new product launch process and supply strategies to meet the EMEA market needs
• Launching Tygacil^®, within 24 hours of EU license, and Tazozin EF^® in the EMEA
